A rare twin fusee convex dial, striking drop dial Regency wall clock, by Thompson and sons of Bath.circa 1825

The clock has a substantial   7 and a half inches by 5 and a quarter FIVE pillar  movement, with twin chain fusee .

The pendulum rod has engraved cutaway facets  and there is a locking mechanism on the back plate for carrying the clock with the pendulum in place.. The winding key is the original one 

The case is mahogany with brass inlay and brass fish scale side frets backed with the original material.The case has the usual expansion cracks
